7:27 It's typically what we as street photographer ! Or at least what I do as well ! Something is clearly happening. We come back to it. Pretend that we don't care but are totally focus on it ! We turn around. Don't watch directly. But we wait for the shot ! We eventually follow the guys. Might happen just nothing !

Great talk. I'd like to share something that happened to me on IG last year. There's this huge street photography collective from Tokyo (I won't say the name), and one day, one of their members who was in charge of posting content on the collective's IG account that week posted a note saying that he was looking for photos to be featured on their account, and whoever was interested must sent him a message. I was interested and I sent him a message. He visualized the message and I got no response, but that's ok, I thought there must be tons of messages from people wanting to get their photos on this huge "display". The next day I got tagged by them, and to my surprise, he just selected some dumb photos from my account and and performed an infamous print screen of the pictures, so poorly done that in one of the images there was a red line draw (probably unnoticed) when doing the print screen. I got really mad. I could've sent him some photos with better quality if I got the opportunity to do so. But at the end of the day, I was mad with myself. And from that point I started to realize that I have to respect my own work more than anybody. I met some really nice people on IG and I don't want to trash the app despite the fact that lately it is really useless for photographers. And I don't want to trash the collective, I really like their work. But I have to like, care and respect my own work in the first place.

I totally understand, working a full time job and doing photographic work can be difficult. When I shoot I personally enjoy working with actors/ creatives. The process and making something is always a pleasure. It’s quality over quantity.

I love black and white but sometimes the moment calls for color.

When I lived in Philly, Olu worked at my fav lab Indie Photo! I was lucky enough to hear them do a talk at the Philadelphia camera show 2 years back and it was super impactful and such a wonderful chat. One of my favorite photographers hands down
